Viewing Individual Trial Results:
The following information is a quick guide to searching Variety Performance and Trial Results.
To view individual trial results, from the NVT Online home page click on the "Search Trial Information" link inside the "Variety Performance" box. This will take you to a new window and prompt you to select a "Crop", "State", and "Region" (Region is optional). Once the desired fields have been selected, click the "Generate Report" button.
This will generate a list of the available Long Term Yield Reports for the parameters that you have selected. From here, select 'View' from beside the desired report to see the Long Term Yield Report and enable Individual Trial Report searching. The long term yield performance report for the parameters you have selected will be generated, and a new link called "Trial Report Search" will be created. Clicking on this link will expand the box and allow for more filters to be applied to the individual trial search. Select a desired year, location, etc and the click the "List Trials" button.
Once the list of trials has appeared, results can either be viewed individually by clicking on the "View" button beside each trial, or the bulk data can be exported to Microsoft Excel by ticking the check-boxes beside desired trials, and clicking the "Export to XLS" button.

Having Trouble Running Reports?
The new NVT reporting functionality may require some users to update their version of internet explorer by downloading and installing a “patch” from Microsoft.
This update should address issues including:
- Variety Performance and Variety Information pages not opening
- Drop down menus not refreshing once a Crop or State has been selected
- Report running slowly
- Application errors
To install the update, either run a Windows Update on your Computer (Start > Microsoft updates) or download the Microsoft Update application package, instructions below.

To determine which Version of Internet Explorer that you are using, click on the "Help" menu, then select "About Internet Explorer". This will open a new box displaying the Version you are using.
Step 2: Save the file to your hard drive
Step 3: Close down any programs that are already open on you computer.
Step 4: Open the saved application file to install it, and then follow through the steps outlined by the installation wizard.
